Ordering your wooden gates couldn’t be easier at Mitech Joinery LTD the wooden gate specialists. In this news article I shall be looking at a recent installation placed by a customer (Fred) in Hertfordshire. On initial contact with Fred I went over the basics of his gateway with a series of questions designed to collect all the information to start to put together a budget idea of project cost. Obvious question like are there existing posts or piers,what kind of design had you seen on our website and the general size of the gateway. On receiving the information the customer sent pictures of the gateway to qualify our conversation. I was then able to give a definite costings for all joinery work needed to complete the installation with purpose made hinge-ware and ironmongery. Along with the costing comes the important CAD drawings to help the customer get a good idea of the scale and proportion of the gates. At this point all sizes are checked by the customer and signed off ready for production. In the case of Fred’s installation I introduced him to a local automation fitter called Will who met up with Fred and quoted for the installation of the automation and gates. At Mitech we are constantly developing business relationships with automation fitters of whom we can put forward for installations in our customers catchment areas. This means that the customer gets an approved recommended gate installer and we are then able to supply the gates to the customer.
